The Zendster webcast studio can be used for other purposes
Transmissions through the studio are IP based, which means they use less bandwidth than the classical SNG solution. This makes it a cheaper solution for your data transmission.
Therefore, the studio can also be used:
- for FTP transmission: a safe way of sending files over the internet.
- for virtual SDI:
The transmission is done by coding and decoding the broadcasters' SDI signal. This is a much cheaper solution than the classical SNG, since we use less bandwidth due to the fact that the system is IP based. This means you get maximum quality for a minimum investment.
- as a WIFI station:
The studio can be used as a WIFI station on distant locations, where you can have wireless internet on occasions this would be impossible otherwise .
